Are You The Change? Part 2

Following on from last week I suggested that you consider the reason that you got into chiropractic in the first place and what your vision is for the part you wish to play in your profession. I suggested that you might like to have a clear statement of this purpose written out.

The message that chiropractic brings to the world is very different from the myths that we are engulfed in propagated by our medico-politico-corporate monopolies.

The chiropractic vision includes more than catering to the health care needs of a tribe of isolated beings living out their desperate lives on a lonely planet in an indifferent universe. We are part of a larger whole, Universal Intelligence. As people we have far more power than we realize.

Einstein stated it this way “A human being is part of a whole, called by us the ‘Universe’, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest–a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for
us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

Quantum calculations show that our universe, including us live in what amounts to a sea of motion – a quantum sea of light. All living things, at their most fundamental level, are packets of quantum energy constantly exchanging information with the pulsating energy field. We are not chemical reactions but energetic charges. Human beings and all living things are a coalescence of energy in a field of energy connected to every other thing in the universe. Sounds like the chiropractic story to me!

We are not in competition with anyone for people to fill our practices or influence the world. Chiropractic’s mission is to free our own minds and hearts from this “prison”, adjust people and communicate the ‘Big Idea’. By so doing we empower them with the truths that chiropractic has kept hidden for the last 117 years and that are now being evidenced in science.

Cognition of these principles has a global effect of attraction, which translates to busy practices and fulfilled people.

So, where will you be at this time next year? Will you be able to say, I am where I want to be, my practice is where I want it to be, my profession is where I would like it to be and my world is where I would like it to be?

Maybe now would be a good time to ask. What is my vision for my life, practice, profession and world? Write it down in goal form. Then go about visualizing it and realizing it.

You never know. You may be the change you want to see in the world.
