#3 of the 7 Factors

This week we will consider the third factor that will have a significant affect on your results this year. If you explore it and use it wisely you will amplify every goal, resolution and hope that you currently have.

We have spoken about the importance of structure and its appropriate alignment whether it is your body, your relationships or your practice or business. We then explored the importance of movement with flexibility and grace – putting structure to the test by making things happen.

The third factor is that direction. There is no sense in moving if it is in a direction that doesn’t move you towards what you want. So much of modern life is spent attending to diversions or someone else’s agenda for you. E-mails, TV, Web rabbit holes, food, social demands, compulsive behaviours to name a few will take you and your momentum away from your target. In this process your most precious commodity – time gets taken away from you and you are the loser.

Be specific with your direction and make sure that you state it clearly in the form of your purpose statements both personal, relationship and business. Put your time allocations into a default diary that ensures that certain activities are adhered to at certain times and stick with it.

Minimize as many diversions from your direction as possible and you will achieve much more in less time. That’s why they say, if you want something done give it to a busy person.
